Q-Cells is a member of PV CYCLE – the European Association for Voluntary Take Back and Recycling of Photovoltaic Modules. This voluntary association of manufacturers and importers has operated a collection and recycling system for PV modules since December 2008. The members undertake to guarantee and completely finance the collection and recycling of modules. The recycling process is shown in the diagram below.
Module werden genau dann vom System aufgenommen, wenn der Besitzer sie als End-of-Life (EoL) deklariert, d. h. die Absicht hat, sie zu entsorgen. Als EoL Module werden während des Transports oder der Installation beschädigte Module, Garantiefälle und Module am Ende ihrer Nutzungsphase bezeichnet.
