
Q-Cells SE has received numerous awards:
Germany’s Best Employer 2008: In February 2008, Q-Cells SE was granted the award “Germany’s Best Employer 2008”. Trusting relationships between the management and the workforce that are based on trust, committed employees and a lively team spirit are the main criteria for winning this accolade. The award is granted by the Great Place to Work® Institute Deutschland in cooperation with the research institute Forschungsinstitut psychonomics AG, the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA) and the business journal ‘Capital’.

Fair Company: At the end of 2007 Q-Cells SE was granted the award “Fair Company”. This award is based on an initiative by careers and business magazine ‘Junge Karriere’. Its aim is to mark out companies who lead the way by setting a good example and offering interns interesting work, references and an opportunity to get on the careers ladder. The criteria for winning the award include the requirement that no full-time posts are filled by interns, volunteers or guest students. Q-Cells SE primarily offers internships to young people during the course of their vocational training, in order to help them to decide on a career. The company pays them an appropriate allowance.

Deloitte Technology Fast 50: In October 2007 Q-Cells SE was granted the “Sustained Excellence Award”. The award was granted by Deloitte Germany, an accounting and consulting agency, as part of their Technology Fast 50 competition. The award acknowledges companies which demonstrate excellent performances, high level of innovation and entrepreneurial flair alongside continuous growth. In addition to the Fast-50-criteria increase in sales, Deloitte assessed competitor position, management, company culture as well as financial indicators in 2006.

Deloitte Technology Fast 50: Q-Cells SE has taken first place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in Germany. The rankings are based on cumulative sales growth ratios for the past five years (2001-2005). Q-Cells SE achieved growth of 33.019 percent during this period.

German Foundation Award: Q-Cells SE received the German Foundation Award 2005 as best company in the category “Climbers”. This category honours a company that is between one and five years old, shows strong growth and has created secure jobs.

Entrepreneur of the Year: The Chairman of the Executive Board and the Chief Technology Officer of Q-Cells SE, Anton Milner and Reiner Lemoine, received the business award “Entrepreneur of the Year 2005” in the category “Start-up”. This distinction is awarded by the auditing company Ernst & Young.

Europe 500: In 2005, Q-Cells SE was number nine among the fastest-growing companies in Europe published in the Europe 500 list. In 2006 it was number twelve, and additionally won the special award for "Innovation". This ranking of European companies is compiled annually by the association Entrepreneurs for Growth, with the support of Microsoft and KPMG.

Ethics in Business: Q-Cells SE received the quality seal “Ethics in Business” for its outstanding commitment in the field of environment and community issues. This quality seal is awarded to medium-sized companies that act honestly, sustainably and systematically beyond the legal requirements.
